American History and Italian Culture Meet

The North End

The North End neighborhood in Boston is famous for Italian culture, American history, and food.

You can cut the North End many different ways and our students–many of whom live here–get to embrace all this Italian-American neighborhood has to offer.

From cobblestone streets and historic American landmarks, to the best Italian restaurants in the city, to bakeries and pastry shops, it’s hard not to fall in love with the North End’s charm. We’ll most certainly be back. Did we mention gelato? (Photos: Pierce Giamportone ’19 and Angelina Garibaldi ’20)
